Let’s talk
things through…

Focusing on You

Become more Self Aware

Counselling can help you to become more self-aware. Being self-aware helps to put us in a good place to consider change. We can begin to clear the fog of living and make sense of things easier.

Learn to Manage your thoughts

Thousands of thoughts run through our minds each day – they have the potential to shape our moods and how we live our lives.  Many of us have negative thoughts running through our heads daily. Recognising how our thoughts affect us, helps to put us in control and command how we think.

Learn to live more in the moment

Anxiety or depression, might mean we spend a good deal of time either worrying about the future or regretting the past. Counselling can help you live more in the present and feel more peaceful and calmer.

Why do I keep doing this?

Overeating, self-harming or drinking too much? Our behaviour does not define us. Feeling ashamed sometimes is natural but can also be damaging. Counselling helps us to identify potential hurdles and provides a safe place to explore our fears about changing our lives for the better.

Start to value yourself

People pleasing is exhausting!  We all need to recognise that we come first!  Counselling can help you to recognise the value in showing yourself true consideration and empathy.

Make sense of the past

Our past can influence the person we are today.  There can be exceptional value gained in understanding our past and how it has influenced our life-journey. Old wounds can be healed and painful experiences worked through.

Do you want more meaningful relationships?

In counselling we may come to appreciate the relationships which are important to us and need further investment.  We can also start to recognise relationships that are toxic and find the strength to take a step back.
